I really love all of the bright pops of color throughout this beautiful home! That red bookcase is a stunning contrast to the dark brown walls!

The architect who is doing our house just did a steel and glass house for her previous clients. He had a steel subcontracting company, so it made a lot of sense. It turned out beautifully. I love how much light that kind of structure lets in and how efficient the style typically allows your interior spaces to be. It's not really our style, but she almost had me convinced!

I like how modern this home is, without feeling stark or unlivable. A very nice way to integrate the two ideals!

I grew up in contemporary style houses with lots of glass, lots of light. I would feel right at home in this house...

I came across your post this afternoon while browsing interior design blogs and the topic of window treatment selection was very interesting to me. This home is beautiful, and being a glass house, I wonder what window treatments would compliment it. It is true that you must dress your windows appropriately to bring out their true beauty. Thank you for writing and as a special thanks to you and your readers, I would like to offer a 20% off coupon using this code upon checkout: BLG20.

I really like the coffee table featured in the 2nd and 3rd pictures. I found a similar table at Maisons du Monde and after seeing the Elle Decor photos I think its a done deal. Thanks for sharing:)

My neighbor owns a glass house also. I've been there actually a couple of times now and their house is so beautiful. Glass houses have natural light coming from the outside, so we can see the natural beauty of the house. I'm looking for a glass house also that is not so big and has steel front doors to ensure safety. I hope I can found one before the end of the year, so we get to enjoy the Holidays more.

Glass allows air and natural light to enter a room, all natural and very refreshing. The simplicity of glass lies in its transparency, thus allowing us to be enveloped by nature while living at ease indoors. There’s nothing better than bright, open rooms with an excellent view of the outdoors. You definitely got yourself one comfy home.
